Former Honours Student
My research focuses on women’s daily self-care and mental health, migrant women’s stress management and resilience, and the relationship between pregnancy, self-care, and long-term wellbeing outcomes. I am particularly interested in how individuals navigate cultural and environmental shifts while maintaining their psychological health. Building on this, my work extends to understanding how people learn and grow in different environments—how we can better maximize learning resources, create meaningful growth pathways, and foster strengths-based leadership in organizational psychology. In this space, I explore ways to support individuals and teams in recognizing unique talents, optimizing both personal and collective success, and removing barriers to smoother development. My recent research investigated cultural conflicts in self-care among Chinese first-time pregnant migrants in Australia.
