Our research group was established in 2025 to provide a collaborative and educational space for researchers, higher degree by research students, and undergraduate students to explore topics in family, developmental, and cultural psychology.

This research group is operating within the Department of Psychology, Counselling and Therapy, School of Psychology and Public Health at La Trobe University (Australia), as most of our members are La Trobe staff and students. However, to investigate family relationships and practices across different contexts and cultures, we also invite members and collaborators from different countries who share our interests in family, development, and culture psychology. We value their insider understanding of cultural values and practices and their role as local contacts.
